Director Assessments and Strategic Capability
role at
NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption
(NSW ICAC).
Responsibilities
Direct the work of the Commission's assessment and strategic capability functions.
The assessment team is the Commission's first contact point for the community and NSW public authorities to report suspected corrupt conduct and to assess those reports.
The three functions of the strategic capability team are: strategic intelligence and research; learning and development for the investigation division; oversight of the investigation division's continuous improvement projects.

Remuneration
The total remuneration package for this Senior Executive Band 1 position ranges from $210,404 to $235,320 per annum (including superannuation).

Qualifications
Extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in investigation and intelligence environments. Experience managing a complaint handling team is highly desirable.
Well-developed planning, problem solving, analytical and project management skills with a record of successful project outcomes, including process improvement and capability development projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of law enforcement and administrative investigation processes and methodologies, a good understanding of the criminal law, the rules of evidence and criminal procedures, the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988, the machinery of government and public sector organisational systems.
Demonstrated ability to write and communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds, occupations, and seniority, both internal and external to the Commission.
Appropriate and relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications
Employment is contingent upon obtaining an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance at Negative Vetting 1.
