The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The Deadly Choices Strategy in combination with consortium members across Queensland and the Deadly Choices brand and programs are widely recognised as a cutting edge health promotion and education initiatives.
About the Role?
The Head of Operations role will lead the development and implementation of the greater Deadly Choices programs. Providing leadership and guidance to the operational team as well as ensuring quality within the Deadly Choices brand and programs. This role will also lead development and CQI with the Deadly Choices Quality Management Team whilst overseeing the program delivery, data collection and reporting.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
As part of the Deadly Choices management team, work collaboratively to lead the broader strategic business and systems development, stakeholder engagement and organisation development initiatives.
Oversee the design, development, review and delivery of Deadly Choices content, including education programs, resources, training materials and all other program collateral.
Lead workforce development and support strategies
Oversee a continuous quality improvement framework that supports the ongoing implementation of the Deadly Choices program
Work collaboratively with commissioned service providers and partners to support integrated primary health care responses.
Work collaboratively to support the Executive Director Deadly Choices and Head of Partnerships and Events
About You?
Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
Current Criminal History Check
Current Blue Card
Desirable, but not mandatory:
Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
