Senior Estimator

A specialist building remediation contractor delivering complex defect and repair works across residential and commercial strata projects is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead both sales and production estimating.

This role will oversee cost planning, trade procurement, contract pricing and margin control across technical remediation projects including façade, balcony, structural and waterproofing works.

The Role Reporting to senior management, you will manage end‑to‑end estimating from tender through to production.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare BOQs, take‑offs and detailed cost estimates

Manage trade and supplier tendering to secure competitive pricing

Finalise scopes of work and issue production purchase orders

Negotiate improved pricing to protect and enhance project margins

Monitor margin performance

Identify cost risks and collaborate with project & finance teams on forecasting

Maintain subcontractor relationships and compliance documentation

About You

5+ years’ construction estimating or operations experience

Ideally experienced in remediation, maintenance or insurance building

Strong knowledge of structural defects and construction methodologies

Commercially focused with proven negotiation capability

Able to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines

Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship skills
