Job Description Building Certifier (Level 2) – Technical Lead. Start date within the first quarter of 2026. Mobile phone and laptop included. Work from home arrangements are available.

About You

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Building Certifier (Level 2)

Passion for delivering results for clients

Ability to self‑manage and meet certification timelines

Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

Strong team focus and collaborative spirit

About the Role

Lead with a collaborative, outcome‑driven style

Communicate effectively with clients, certifiers, and admin staff

Stay current with updates to BCA, NCC, and Dept of Public Works & Housing

Mentor and share knowledge with the team

Run weekly sessions on technical changes and industry updates

Act as the go‑to technical expert for certification queries

Balance certification work with leadership, mentoring, and assessments

Identify workflow gaps and take initiative to resolve them

Undertake desktop assessments and allocate jobs across the team

Review projects and prepare competitive quotes

Qualifications / Licences

Member of AIBS

Diploma of Building Certification

White card & current driver’s licence
