A large, purpose‑driven public sector organisation is seeking a Principal IR/ER Consultant to provide expert advisory support during a period of increased complexity and demand.

This is a hands‑on, senior role where your technical expertise and sound judgment will directly influence workplace outcomes.

The Opportunity

Lead investigations, discipline and dismissal processes

Navigate conduct, performance and workplace disputes

Provide authoritative advice on legislation and industrial instruments

Prepare high‑quality briefs, submissions and documentation

Strengthen leadership capability in managing people risk

What You'll Bring

Deep expertise in employment and industrial relations legislation

Proven experience managing complex investigations and disputes autonomously

Strong written capability – briefs, submissions, formal correspondence

Confidence advising senior stakeholders on high‑risk matters

Sound judgment, discretion and resilience under pressure

A proactive, solutions‑focused approach

Public sector or similarly regulated environment experience will be highly regarded.
