Appian . As part of the Appian Platform Engineering team, you will be responsible for building the cloud infrastructure that powers the Appian platform. This role involves learning a wide range of technologies and tackling new challenges as you add features and functionality to the Appian cloud infrastructure.

Hundreds of companies run their business applications on Appian Cloud. Our infrastructure must be highly secure, scalable, and available, with thousands of servers and end users. Your work will have a significant impact from day one.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and evolve the cloud infrastructure powering the Appian platform.

Learn about a wide range of technologies and tackle new challenges to add features and functionality.

Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure security, scalability, and high availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience, or a history of academic success.

Excellent spoken and written communication.

Fluent in at least one programming language and comfortable with object-oriented concepts.

Experience with SQL databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, Amazon RDS, etc.).

Experience with public cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Experience working in a Linux environment.
