Job Description

Job Summary To grow and maintain revenue from TB FI clients including:Banks, Pay tech, Sponsors client of the Bank

Strategy

Deliver on performance

Overall TB FI client group revenue, profitability and risk acceptance (FCC, CDD and Credit), RORWA.

Relationship Strategy and Account Plan.

Business

Identifying new opportunities for growth along with product partners.

Developing and maintaining client relationship, their needs in various markets.

Build and maintain strong working relationship with Risk, Legal, Compliance, FCC and other key stakeholders. Ensure that the portfolio remains credit worthy and within the policies of the Bank.

Regular pricing reviews and ensure to be in line with the market for all products. Carry out regular competitor benchmarking exercise to help shape marketing, product, pricing and service strategies.

Using market intelligence to provide inputs to stakeholders or new ideas and product gaps.

Account planning and wallet sizing for relevant clients

Driving discussion with the credit team and Product teams

Cross sales of products and monitoring pricing.

Key Responsibilities Processes

Good understanding Correspondent Banking / Pay-tech & over all FI business related processes

Risk Management

Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations to embed compliance risk monitoring as an integral part of the Business process for example quarterly reviews and e-learnings.

Actively get involved in Credit Risk Review.

Governance

Actively participate in funded/non funded risk participation deals and ensure optimal differential revenue to be booked for all such trade deals.

To work with country Transaction Banking Finance to ensure correct tagging of trade revenues

Work with Product team and Operations team in generating new MIS to accurately forecast business growth

Work with finance to ensure that all product no revenue get correctly tagged to the FI bank segments

Regulatory & Business Conduct

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Effectively and collaboratively identify, elevate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key stakeholders

Coverage RM’s and TB sales across corporate and Business Banking segments & geographies

Work with Country operations (Cash and Trade) to address and work on all operational issues and expedite large ticket transactions for selected clients

Work with Country operations (Cash and Trade) to hand hold transactions as reqd.

Work with Product team to resolve any operational issues that stands as an impediment in generating more product revenues

Compliance / Risk

Other Responsibilities

Living the Banks Values & work with Stakeholders to achieve revenue objectives

Skill an Experience

Understanding of Trade (UCP 600) & ICC guidelines

TB Cash products

Local & cross border regulations (FEMA)

Qualifications

Preferably MBA /Graduate or equivalent level education

Previous Banking experience preferably in Transaction Banking Sales or Transaction Banking Product Management

An understanding of the bank's operations, treasury, trade finance, money markets and regulations on a local and regional level is preferred.

Good knowledge of UCP 600, the Groups Policy, Standards, local regulations and legislation of the prevention of money laundering.

Proficient in MS Office, running Macros with very strong presentation skills

Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking) is essential

Proficiency in other Indian Languages would be an added advantage
