About the Role We’re seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to build and lead the finance function for a new entrant in Australia’s fuel supply chain. With operations commencing in early 2026, the business has secured major infrastructure assets and long‑term customer agreements, creating a platform for rapid scale and strong margins.

What You’ll Do

Establish finance systems, processes, and controls from the ground up.

Deliver accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decisions.

Manage working capital, launch funding, and debt facilities.

Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and governance requirements.

Partner with the CEO and leadership team on commercial strategy and growth initiatives.

Prepare board and investor materials, supporting capital management and expansion.

What We’re Looking For

CA/CPA qualified with experience in finance leadership roles.

Experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital‑intensive sectors preferred.

Proven ability to manage funding rounds and cash flow in dynamic environments.

Strategic thinker with strong operational discipline and commercial acumen.

Ambition to step into a CFO role within 12–24 months.
