About the role
In order to service our existing client base (and take on new matters) we are seeking a junior lawyer who can relate to our vision for technical excellence, innovation and our client centric approach. Whilst we don’t style ourselves as a ‘new law firm’ clients have said that we are the most technologically savvy law firm that they have come across.
The role primarily involves working with two senior lawyers on a range of both litigious and advisory matters including drafting various different commercial contracts for business acquisitions and sales, shareholder relationships, various terms of service and business contracts. You will also get exposure to IP Litigation and shareholder oppression matters. You will also receive hands on mentoring and will actually get to talk with clients as you develop your knowledge and expertise.
Your skills and experience
some experience in contract drafting;
some exposure or work experience in a law firm;
a high level of attention to detail;
a Queensland Practicing Certificate or immediate eligibility for one;
a passion for learning and continuous personal development;
be highly computer literate with advanced skills in MS‑Word.
