Role Overview The organisation is seeking to appoint a CFO, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the end-to-end financial health and sustainability of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include hands on, day-to-day financial management, financial modeling, budget management, financial reporting, reporting to Government and strategic financial planning. The role will work closely with the executive team to drive financial efficiency and accountability, and you will contribute directly to our mission of providing high-quality care to the ageing and elderly to remain safe and independent in their homes.

About Us Our in-home aged care boasts a team of over 170 employees. Located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, our organisation supports ageing and elderly clients nationwide. We specialise in client-centered care services through HCPs, CHSP, and HACC-PYP, currently serving more than 3,000 clients.

About You

You are a Certified Accountant.

You have experience in the in-home aged care sector.

You are well versed with the aged care reforms that rolled out 1 November 2025.

You are a hands-on manager with strong communication skills and the ability to influence change.

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role with experience in managing a revenue portfolio that exceeds $20 million.

You are a strategic thinker with prudent financial management skills.

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable plans.

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modelling tools.

You are well versed with the Xero platform and payroll platforms.

You have a great attention to detail.

You can work well under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
