About the Role As a

Guidewire Specialist Solution Architect , you will act as the architecture and design authority for Guidewire‑based initiatives. The role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, ensuring solutions meet immediate business needs while supporting long‑term platform evolution. You’ll work across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and digital channels, providing technical leadership throughout the full delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead solution architecture and design for Guidewire implementations and enhancements.

Define and govern end‑to‑end architectures across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and digital channels.

Oversee Guidewire‑specific domains including policy admin, claims, billing, integrations, and digital experiences.

Apply Guidewire best practices around product model design, extension strategy, and configuration vs customisation.

Ensure adherence to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) principles where applicable.

Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and security standards.

Guide delivery teams to build secure, scalable, high‑performing insurance solutions.

Drive architectural consistency and reduce technical debt across programs.

Provide architecture assurance across design, build, test, and deployment phases.

Communicate architecture decisions, trade‑offs, risks, and impacts to stakeholders.

Design and govern integrations with digital front ends, data platforms, finance, CRM, and external partners.

Define migration and modernisation paths (on‑prem to cloud, upgrades, platform evolution).

Guide vendors and delivery partners on architecture standards and expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within large‑scale Guidewire programs preferably in financial services or insurance industry

Deep knowledge of PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.

Strong background in designing integrations across digital, data, finance, CRM, and partner systems.

Experience with cloud‑based architectures and modern integration patterns.

Ability to balance strategic architecture with hands‑on delivery execution.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.

Proven experience providing architecture assurance across full SDLC.

Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform and modernisation pathways.
