About the role

Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a Casual Corporate Security Officer to join our business and work for a very well-known Global client in the Melbourne CBD.

The Corporate Security Officer must be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. Those with a strong customer service background coupled with a Security Licence are encouraged to apply.

You will be paid award SSIA Level 5 for doing what you love in a great, dynamic community.

Key Tasks

Provide a security service in line with the site SOP’s and customer requirements in order to protect the customer’s employees, property and other assets.

Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’s core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

Deliver a consistently high-end, accurate and discreet Security-focused hosting experience to all visitors, guests and employees at the designated site(s).

Ensure the safety and protection of customer’s people, property and information always, in a knowledgeable and service-oriented manner, ensuring an unobtrusive and comfortable environment.

Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both the client and Securitas, promoting a positive image of our customer always.

Deal with queries from the public, customers/visitors and employees.

Must have a valid VIC Security Licence.

Ability to uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

Be able to work independently, self‑aware, motivated as well as part able to work as part of the team.

Be punctual and reliable.

Be proactive, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality.Experience in a concierge/hosting/customer facing role.

Previous security environment experience and/or security awareness training.
