About the role: DT Infrastructure, as part of the TasVic Greenlink joint venture with Samsung C&T Corporation Australia, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1.

We are seeking an experienced

Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor

to join us on this once in a generation project. The Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor is responsible for implementing diverse communication and stakeholder engagement strategies to drive community and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist with the development and implementation of CSE Plans / assessments for projects and Council roads projects.

Assist in the preparation and distribution/upload of program communication materials, such as newsletters, fact sheets, media releases, advertisements, conference papers, award submissions and website updates.

Visit project work site to assess potential community impacts.

Attend regular planning, design and construction meetings to identify/discuss potential community impacts associated with project activities.

Field day-to-day stakeholder enquiries and complaints and escalating as required.

Experience and capabilities:

Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or marketing.

5+ years’ experience working in corporate communication and/or community engagement roles, preferably within the construction industry.

A knowledge of planning, design and construction terminology and processes (desirable).
