About Goodstart Byron Bay Our centre is rated as “Exceeding” and is located on Old Bangalow Road, just minutes from Byron Bay and on the way to Suffolk Park, making drop‑off and pick‑up simple and convenient for families. We offer a warm, close‑knit environment with a small daily group of up to 33 children, cared for by our dedicated team of educators. We support children from Nursery through to Kindergarten/Preschool, with learning programs aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework and tailored to each child’s strengths and needs.

Inspired by the natural Byron Bay lifestyle, our outdoor space is beachy and nature‑based, featuring palms, timber play areas, rocks and a mud kitchen. We value strong partnerships with families and the community, working together to support every child’s development and smooth transition to school.

Responsibilities

Support the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high‑quality early learning and care

Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team

Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence

Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
