Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Permanent | Full-time or Part-time | South Australia
Total Package: $502,529 – $654,778 p.a. (pro rata)

About the Role
As a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you’ll provide expert clinical services across both obstetrics and gynaecology, while contributing to teaching, training, and research. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary department that delivers high‑quality, patient‑centred care and plays a vital role in supporting the local community.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing specialist O&G services across inpatient and outpatient settings
Leading and collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team
Supporting and mentoring registrars, junior doctors, and medical students
Actively participating in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research initiatives
Contributing to professional education and continuous development within the department

Attractive remuneration package : $502,529 – $654,778 p.a. (pro rata), inclusive of allowances, superannuation, professional development support, and potential private practice arrangements

The Obstetrics & Gynaecology unit provides comprehensive maternity and women’s health services for the region, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, alongside a broad range of gynaecological services. About You
To be considered, you will need:
MBBS or equivalent, plus FRANZCOG (or eligible)
Demonstrated experience across both obstetrics and gynaecology
Strong interest in teaching, mentoring, and quality improvement
Commitment to collaborative, patient‑focused care
