Senior Mechanical Engineer

A leading national Tier 1 mechanical contractor with over 1,000 employees across Australia is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their high-performing team.

The Role As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in leading the design, coordination, and delivery of large-scale mechanical projects across sectors such as health, commercial, data centres, and infrastructure. You will work closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Tier 1 standards.

Responsibilities include:

Leading the engineering design and coordination of HVAC/mechanical services.

Overseeing project delivery from tender through to completion.

Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to drive successful outcomes.

Ensuring compliance with Australian standards, codes, and safety requirements.

About You

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.

Proven experience delivering large-scale mechanical projects in Australia.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and services.

Ability to lead teams and build strong relationships across all project stakeholders.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
