The Role
As the Head of Cotton and Dry Bulk, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and overseeing operations in these specific product categories. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow within a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the cotton and dry bulk sectors, aligned with overall corporate objectives.
Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities to expand market share.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of activities related to cotton and dry bulk sales, including logistics, finance, and marketing teams.
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Formulate pricing strategies for cotton and dry bulk products, considering market dynamics and profitability targets.
Monitor sales performance through regular reporting and analysis, identifying opportunities for growth or corrective actions where necessary.
Represent AWH Pty Ltd at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Stay abreast of regulatory requirements related to cotton trading and bulk shipping practices, ensuring compliance across all operations.

The Right Candidate
This opportunity would be a terrific fit for someone who has:
Tertiary qualifications in marketing/sales or a related discipline together with a proven record of achievement in previous roles.
Cotton and/or Dry Bulk industry experience.
Experience in developing solutions with large and complex organisations.
Very strong negotiation skills, including an ability to ‘close’ on new business opportunities.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
An ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of people.
Highly self‑motivated and self‑directed.
Ability to work well under pressure.
