Skills and Experience The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following via their resume and during the interview process:

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering (preferred) or Computer Science

10+ years software engineering experience in Medical Devices or similar regulated industries (e.g. Defence or Automotive)

Proficient in C, C++ (required) and other (e.g. Java, C#) programming languages

Ability to work with a high degree of independence

High in-person and email communication skills, demonstrating a history of collaborating with both internal and external (customers) stakeholders

Experience using software version control in a team environment

Familiarity with Linux command line tools

Understanding of network communication protocols (including TCP/IP)

Proficient in documentation writing, with a mindset that is accepting and open to procedural rigor necessary in a regulated setting
