We have an exciting opportunity for a

Principal Electrical Engineer

to join our in-house Engineering Design Team in Perth! In this role, you will effectively provide electrical engineering expertise to the project.

Responsibilities Your focus will include:

Deputise for the discipline Chief Electrical Engineer as required

Review and approve the work from other engineers

Help in the development of Company Standards

Participate in the development of solutions and strategies

Provide technical support to electrical group

Liaise with Client engineering personnel

Qualifications What you will bring to the team:

12+ years Design experience within in the energy, mining and or utilities market sectors.

Previous experience in a Lead/Principal Engineer position

Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering

competency for Hazardous Area related work (preferred)

Interest in working across construction projects including site visits

You will have knowledge in the following areas:

Packages

Power Generation

Power Distribution Systems

Procurement, construction and commissioning activities

Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas (EEHA) (Preferred)

Good knowledge of Australian Codes and Standards
