We're currently working with a large FinTech organisation to secure an experienced Regulatory Lawyer on a contracting basis. Commencing as soon as possible, the engagement is expected to run up to 3 months with the potential to extend. About the role:

As part of the Risk & Compliance team, you’ll play a key role in helping protect the business from emerging risks and supporting strong compliance outcomes. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Supporting the risk and compliance function and contributing to its strategic direction. Assisting in the development and maintenance of risk management and compliance frameworks. Helping improve internal controls, processes, and reporting to lift overall effectiveness. Assisting with regulatory interactions and ensuring timely, accurate documentation and reporting. Working with teams across the business to help embed risk and compliance considerations. Monitoring emerging risks and regulatory changes to support organisational resilience. Who we are looking for:

We would like to hear from motivated, commercially aware lawyers with 5+ years’ PAE, ideally gained in leading national or international firms or within pre‑eminent in‑house teams. You will have experience supporting risk and compliance frameworks, working effectively across teams and communicating clearly with varied stakeholders. Experience with Australian Financial Services Licence compliance would be highly advantageous, while an interest in emerging technologies or digital assets will also be highly regarded.
