Overview
Reporting directly to Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational advice to enable informed business decision making and help drive improvement in financial performance. This will include partnering with commercial stakeholders across the business, providing key financial insights, and working with stakeholders to identify and understand opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders
Prepare and present insightful financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and performance against objectives
Lead senior leadership groups within the portfolio to meet internal reporting requirements
Analyse financial data, develop models, and conduct scenario planning to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities
Provide financial analysis and advice to support business cases, investments, and strategic initiatives
Contribute to executive discussions on medium- and long-term strategic planning, with a focus on financial sustainability
Deliver financial education and coaching to strengthen commercial capability across the organisation
Partner with leaders to understand business goals and embed financial efficiencies into budgets and forecasts
Offer meaningful insights on performance management and support decision-making with robust financial analysis
Ad hoc analysis and projects as they arise
Qualifications
Ideally CA or CPA qualified, this role demands excellent communication skills, proven stakeholder management experience and a desire to improve existing analysis tools and reporting. The successful candidate will have proven Business Analysis or Management Accounting experience gained in a medium to large corporate, ideally within a fast-paced environment. Candidates with a background in business partnering roles from engineering, construction, infrastructure or project-focused organisations will be advantageous.
