The key purpose of this role is to Investigate, Recommend and document solutions (Architecture) across multiple IT Projects. The role stretch goals will require researching new architecture patterns and frameworks and presenting them at the IT Architecture Review Forum. Key Stakeholders for this role include the IT Architecture Team and the Project Team (BA, Business Operations, Support). The role also interacts with external stakeholders such as third-party solution providers, SaaS solution providers, and delivery partners. The IT Solution Architect will be responsible for: Review business requirements, investigate system features and provide recommendations for solution approach (including pros/cons of various options) Building solution architecture document (high-level solution approach for an initiative). Research solution patterns, frameworks and technologies. Document architecture decisions and compliance or deviations to the principles. Build and maintain architecture repository. Liaise with external IT vendors during the architecture and design phase. Be an escalation point for technical and implementation issues encountered by the development teams. Other tasks and responsibilities as directed by the EA / IT Leadership team. We are looking for the below skillset and experience: 5+ years’ experience as a Solution Architect in a medium to large organisation. Experience working with cross-functional teams in an organisation (including business operations teams). Technical experience in delivering Cloud Solutions (preferably Azure) and integrating /implementing SaaS solutions in a retail environment. Proven experience in retail and supply chain projects Experience in Data Modelling, Data Management, Integration, Event Streams and API-led solutions Experience in project and/or delivery management and/or as Scrum master Hands-on experience with Lean, Agile & Waterfall methodologies Available to work on-site from our Hawthorn Support Centre Monday-Friday Our Benefits and Perks : Enjoy these perks when you join Lovisa!
