Overview: We are a software company that has been growing rapidly. Our focus has always been on shipping new features quickly, which has led to a significant amount of technical debt. The Challenge: Our codebase is full of technical debt. We have legacy code, inconsistent practices, and a lack of proper documentation. This makes it increasingly difficult and slow to develop new features, and we are experiencing frequent bugs. The high technical debt is slowing down our development velocity and increasing our maintenance costs. It is also causing burnout among our engineering team and making it difficult to attract and retain top talent.
