Director – Financial Strategy & Performance

Lead the finance engine behind a growing, multi-site care organisation

Pennwood Aged Care Services is expanding across residential and community care, integrating new sites and strengthening systems to support long-term growth.

We are seeking a senior finance leader to partner directly with the CFO and take ownership of operational finance performance, controls and reporting across the organisation.

This is a Director-level leadership role focused on building capability, strengthening governance and delivering reliable financial insight — not a transactional accounting position.

What you will do

Lead the operational finance function (AP, AR, payroll, month-end, reconciliations)

Manage and develop a small finance team

Strengthen processes, controls and financial governance

Own budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling

Deliver accurate management and board reporting

Identify risks, improve systems and drive efficiency

Build a scalable finance function to support organisational growth

About you You are an experienced, practical finance leader who enjoys building structure and delivering outcomes.

What you bring

Senior finance leadership experience (Finance Manager / FP&A Lead / similar)

Proven experience leading teams and improving finance processesli>

Strong financial controls and systems capability

Advanced budgeting, forecasting and analysis skills

Confidence working with executives and senior stakeholders

Experience in aged care, health, community services or regulated environments is advantageous.
