What you'll be up to: The NSW Sales Director - Agency is responsible for driving QMS Media's revenue growth across the New South Wales Agency consortium group portfolio.

This role requires strategic leadership, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong relationships with senior decision-makers in the industry. The NSW Sales Director – Agency will oversee the execution of sales strategies, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with QMS Media’s broader business objectives.

This role also involves maintaining market competitiveness by driving initiatives to grow the company's share of media revenue across all product offerings and will collaborate closely with the CRO to set and execute plans, ensuring consistent business development and client engagement.

This position is ideal for a dynamic and experienced sales leader with strong agency relationships, a proven track record in the media industry who is seeking to make a significant impact on QMS Media’s growth trajectory.

Oversee strategy implementation, coordination with all departments, and providing guidance and leadership to the sales team to meet KPI requirements.

Work with the CRO to set the strategic direction for the NSW Agency team, translating these plans into actionable sales initiatives and ensuring annual planning cycles are cascaded into monthly priorities.

In conjunction with the CRO, formulate, implement, and manage strategic business plans regarding client base to meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets.

Develop quarterly business plans in conjunction with the Strategy and Insights team to include retention strategies, growth targets, and new business opportunities that are aligned with company objectives and motivate the Agency team to achieve these goals.

Lead negotiations with key clients, focusing on yearly laydowns, partnerships, contra arrangements, and high-value briefs.

Provide weekly reports on NSW Agency sales revenue, variance analysis, and projections to the CRO.

Maintain an active market presence to communicate, present and influence all levels of clients across the portfolio, including executive and C suite-level.

Establish and maintain strong client relationships with key senior people in agencies across strategy, creative, and marketing where applicable.

Collaborate with internal departments, ensuring cross-functional alignment on business objectives and ensuring all activities support broader company strategies.

Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of all QMS Media assets and capabilities, including data, research and creative.

Develop clear KPIs and development goals for your team, offer year-round performance guidance, provide consistent feedback, and conduct timely performance discussions and reviews.

What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

10+ years of sales experience in the media industry, with at least 7 years in a leadership role

Strong agency relationships and networks across the NSW Agency market

Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting and data analysis.

Specialist OOH product and industry knowledge.

Demonstrated experience leading and coaching a high-performance team.

Ability to motivate and manage direct and indirect teams of employees across multiple functions.
