The role As

Group Financial Controller , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial foundations of the business are robust, well governed and fit for the next stage of growth. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead group accounting, financial control, compliance and reporting, while partnering with senior leaders to bring clarity and rigour to decision‑making.

This role is well suited to an experienced Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager ready to take on broader accountability. You’ll be trusted to manage the detail, hold standards, and lead a capable finance team — while also contributing at a higher level across business initiatives and change programs.

You’ll need to be comfortable operating in a dynamic environment, balancing structure with pragmatism and adapting your leadership style as the business evolves.

Key responsibilities include

Lead group financial accounting, control and reporting with a strong focus on accuracy, integrity and compliance

Lead, develop and stabilise a high‑performing finance team through periods of change

Strengthen financial governance frameworks, controls and processes to support scale and consistency

Oversee month‑end, year‑end, consolidation, audit and statutory requirements

Partner with the CFO and executive team to support major initiatives and organisational change

Work closely with functional leaders to improve forecasting discipline and financial insight

What you’ll bring

CA/CPA qualification with a strong technical grounding

Experience leading financial control in complex, consumer‑facing or multi‑entity environments

A calm, adaptable leadership style with high emotional intelligence

The ability to balance governance and control with pragmatism and commercial awareness

Credibility with senior stakeholders and the confidence to influence decision‑making
