Job Overview We are hiring an Applied Data Scientist to take ownership across the full decision lifecycle — working closely with Data Engineering (Cybertron), Product, and Engineering to design, productionize, and continuously improve real‑world decision systems. You will operate in complex, multi‑vertical environments where auditability, reliability, cost‑efficiency, and correctness are as critical as model accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

Strong production experience in time series forecasting (preferably granular timeseries)

Solid grounding in optimization techniques:

Linear / Integer Programming

Heuristics

Constraint programming

Strong Python proficiency (C++ a plus)

Numerical / accelerated computing experience (Dask, Numba, Ray, PyTorch)

SQL fluency and experience with lakehouse systems (e.g., Databricks)

Experience shipping ML/DS systems with monitoring and evaluation

Deep understanding of evaluation frameworks and evolving AI/agent systems

Comfortable working with imperfect real‑world data

Proven ability to use AI tools (copilots, agentic workflows) to accelerate output while maintaining rigor

Key Responsibilities

Build and ship forecasting and optimization models in production

Productionize models with monitoring, governance, and CI/CD

Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver measurable outcomes

Improve reliability, observability, and decision quality at scale

Drive experimentation and continuous model improvement
