Darling Group is looking for a
Head of Content & Social
to lead and own social media across our portfolio of hospitality venues.
This is a
senior, accountable role
for someone who has already run social at scale - across multiple brands - and understands how to balance creative direction with disciplined execution.
You’ll operate as the most senior content operator in the marketing department, responsible for setting direction, maintaining standards, and ensuring consistent output across venues.
About The Role
You will own social media across a multi-venue hospitality group, reporting directly to the Creative Director and working closely with media producers and executional support.
This role exists to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to social. You are responsible for what goes live, when, and why, ensuring social output is intentional, consistent, and commercially aware.
What You’ll Do
Own social media direction and performance across
13+ Instagram accounts and TikTok
Set and maintain clear content direction for each venue
Define priorities, pacing, and quality standards across the portfolio
Lead a
Reels-first, culture-led
content approach
Plan and lock weekly and monthly content direction
Brief and direct photographers, videographers, and social execution support
Approve content before publishing and hold the quality bar
Monitor performance and adjust formats, cadence, and focus accordingly
Maintain a content pipeline that stays ahead, not reactive
Own social workflows, cadence, and accountability within the team
Reduce re-briefing, noise, and last-minute decision-making
Proven experience owning social media across multiple brands simultaneously
Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or culture-led brands
Strong judgement around short-form video and Instagram Reels
Comfortable managing pace, volume, and competing priorities
Confident being accountable for output and performance
