Montpelier Surgery is a small, friendly practice located inthe Clifton Hill conservation area, right in the heart of Brighton. We areseeking a salaried GP to join our team for 4 sessions over a Tuesday & Friday per week. Our ethos is to maintain a supportive, happy workingenvironment while delivering outstanding patient care. We serve a list size of approximately 7,000 patients andhave a close-knit multidisciplinary team consisting of 1 GP Partner, 4 SalariedGPs, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 HCA, a Senior Pharmacist, and additional ARRS rolesavailable through our PCN. The postholder will need toconfidently evidence key skills such as excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, clinical skills and empowering patients to manage theirindividual health conditions. The usual duties of a salaried GP will be expectedpatient care through regular appointments, home visits and the generaladministration for patient care. The postholder will work in collaboration withtheir local practice team, engaging the use of the associated roles that are beattached to the practice. About us

Qualifications

GMC registered CCST for primary care in the UK Eligible to practice independently as a GP in the UK Full GMC Registration to practice as a GP Entry on the Medical Performers List Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery Pleasant and supportive personality Ability to perform well under pressure Resourceful Flexible & Adaptable approach to work including being available to provide cover as required Good understanding of the transforming landscape of primary care, new roles and the value of multi-professional teams General understanding of the GMS contract A good understanding of QOF An understanding of GP commissioning A good understanding of Patient Choice Disclosure and Barring Service Check
