The Opportunity
This Canberra-based Senior Associate role offers exposure to complex, high‑profile privacy and information law matters. You will work on innovative and varied projects, including:
Advising Australian Government clients on privacy, secrecy, FOI, data sharing, AI, and information governance
Conducting Privacy Threshold Assessments (PTA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
Managing complaints, OAIC investigations, and responding to data breaches
Supporting projects that balance technology, privacy, and accountability.

We’re looking for a motivated Senior Associate who brings:
5+ years’ post‑admission experience in privacy and information law
Experience conducting privacy threshold and impact assessments or addressing secrecy provisions (preferred)
High‑level drafting, communication, and analytical skills
Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
Collaborative, client‑focused approach and strategic awareness of government operations
Eligibility for at least baseline security clearance.
