Our client, a well-established and
actively growing
accounting and advisory firm based in North Sydney, is seeking an
Associate Partner
to join their Business Services & Tax leadership team.

The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of a high-quality SME and private client portfolio, lead and develop a capable team, and work closely with the Partner group to drive growth across compliance and advisory. The firm is modern, well-resourced, and focused on creating a sustainable, people-first culture.
Key responsibilities
Lead a portfolio of
Business Services & Tax
clients (SME, family groups, investors)
Deliver and review tax compliance and advisory work (income tax, CGT, structuring, Div 7A, trusts)
Act as a trusted adviser - identify needs, provide solutions, and broaden services
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and managers
Contribute to practice management: workflow, quality control, process improvement
Support business development through referrals, networking, and proposals
Play a key role in
growth initiatives , including supporting the onboarding/integration of acquired client bases (where relevant)
About you
CA/CPA qualified (CTA advantageous)
Proven experience at
Senior Manager / Director / Associate Partner
level in public practice
Strong technical capability across Business Services and tax advisory
Confident client-facing leader with commercial acumen
Enjoys leading people, building capability, and improving delivery
Motivated by growth and ready for a seat at the table
