The Opportunity This growing specialist practice is seeking a

Commercial Lawyer with tax expertise

to join its high‑quality team in Brisbane. If you enjoy tackling complex legal problems, building strong client relationships, and collaborating in a supportive team environment, this role is an excellent fit.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering advice on

taxation law , including structuring, trusts, asset protection, business concessions, and state revenue matters.

Managing a diverse

commercial law

portfolio, including transactions, restructures, corporate advisory work, and commercial agreements.

Providing integrated tax‑commercial solutions to

high‑net‑wealth individuals

and

SME clients .

Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, structuring documents, advisory papers and related instruments.

Working collaboratively with internal teams, accountants, and external advisers to produce holistic and practical outcomes.

Upholding a culture of clarity, ethical practice, and client‑centric service.

About You You will thrive in this role if you are technically sharp, commercially minded, and passionate about simplifying complexity.

Minimum

3+ years PAE

(senior candidates also encouraged).

Background working with SMEs and/or high‑net‑wealth individuals.

Strong drafting skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to clearly and practically communicate complex commercial concepts.

A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
