About the role We are looking for passionate consultants to help us grow our reputation in the marketplace by delivering high quality consulting services to our clients. You will develop and grow trusted relationships with clients, which complement the company’s commercial and strategic relationships, whilst mentoring other team members.

Your expertise in Azure services and solutions will be critical in guiding our clients through their cloud transformation journey. You’ll contribute to the development of our core platform and patterns to meet current and future client requirements.

In your role you will:

Lead the design and architecture of Azure solutions tailored to meet clients' business requirements and technical specifications

Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Azure consultants, architects, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle

Work with an AI-centric mindset to identify and enhance existing processes using modern AI tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot and Gemini

Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable Azure-based solutions

Leverage AI and modern sensibilities to conduct assessments, feasibility studies, and proofs of concept to validate proposed Azure architectures and solutions

Drive the implementation and configuration of Azure services, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards

Develop migration strategies and plans to transition on-premises workloads and applications to the Azure cloud

Implement robust security measures and compliance controls aligning with industry benchmarks to safeguard Azure environments and data

Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot Azure solutions to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability

Stay updated on the latest Azure and AI features, services, and trends to advise clients on continuous optimisation and innovation opportunities

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on maximising the value of Azure and AI investments and achieving business outcomes

Establish and maintain relationships with clients as a source of informed, reliable, professional advice about solution options based on the consultant’s specific skills and knowledge

Identify and complete tasks with minimal supervision and provides oversight and guidance

Willingness to continually upskill; including learning new technologies and AI trends and obtaining new certification relevant to your role

Build, recognise and promptly advise of potential follow‑on business opportunities

Use professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our five Mantel principles

Work with an AI opportunity focussed mindset to ensure processes are as efficient as possible

What you’ll need to be successful:

Good written & verbal communication skills, including strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills

Ability to identify trends within their practice relating to products and services and communicate them effectively to the wider practice

Bring a positive can‑do attitude to the team

Ability to lead and mentor others where appropriate

What tech you’ll need to know:

5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure solutions in complex enterprise environments

Proven experience in leading Azure cloud migration projects from assessment to implementation

In-depth knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity, and access management concepts and best practices

Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

Solid understanding of using AI tools integrated into IDE tools, and an understanding of which models excel under which conditions

Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications preferred
