to help shape people strategy across our national hospital network.

Operating across 17 emergency and critical care hospitals nationally, AEA is continuing to grow — and this role will partner directly with operational leaders to drive workforce strategy, leadership capability and organisational design.
This is not a transactional HR role.
It’s a true strategic partnership position in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
The Role
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will partner with hospital leaders and corporate teams to translate business strategy into impactful people outcomes. This is a permanent full-time position based in Hawthorn east, Vic and, offers a hybrid working environment.
Key areas of impact
Strategic Business Partnership
Partner with Regional Operating Managers and hospital leadership teams
Translate business strategy into workforce planning and capability strategies
Identify and manage emerging people risks
Leadership & Talent Development
Coach leaders through performance, capability and complex employment matters
Support development of emerging clinical and operational leaders
Strengthen succession planning and leadership pipelines
Organisational Design & Commercial Impact
Provide expert advice on remuneration, employment frameworks and workforce structures
Lead organisational design and change initiatives
Drive People Strategy initiatives that support growth and retention
Culture & Employee Experience
Champion AEA’s core values across clinical and corporate teams
Strengthen leadership accountability and coaching capability
Support a high-trust, high-performance culture
What you Bring
Significant experience in Senior HR Business Partner roles
Strong ability to influence and partner with senior operational leaders
Commercial acumen and understanding of how people strategy drives performanc
Experience in multi-site, healthcare or operational environments
Strength in workforce planning, organisational design and talent development
Confidence managing complex employment matterTertiary qualifications in HR, Business or related disciplines are desirable.
