About the Role As a Business Development Manager, you’ll drive sales of Planit’s cutting-edge solutions, build strong client relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Based in Melbourne, you’ll focus on expanding our local market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales growth by securing new clients and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Build and manage a balanced pipeline across technical testing, quality engineering, and digital solutions.

Create strategic account plans to acquire key targets in Melbourne.

Meet revenue, margin, and order intake targets with accurate forecasting.

Respond to tenders and advocate for Planit’s value proposition via client engagements and social media.

Collaborate with delivery teams to support complex projects and foster client advocacy.

Proven track record in meeting sales targets in IT, solutions, or consultative sales.

Strong ability to identify and close pipeline opportunities quickly.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging senior executives.

Established network in Melbourne/Vic including public sector contacts (State/Regional government).

Experience in contract negotiation, pipeline management, and multi-year account planning.

Team player with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
