Senior Technical Lead (SFCC)

Bardot is on the lookout for a Senior Technical Lead (SFCC) to own and evolve the Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C ecosystem and help power our global eCommerce experience.

This role reports into the Head of Digital & Marketing and is responsible for SFCC B2C plus all key integrations across Bardot’s eCommerce platform, working closely with internal stakeholders, developers and external partners.

*NOTE: This role is preferrably based in Melbourne but also can be remote within Australia only!

What you’ll be doing:

Owning SFCC solution design and end-to-end architecture across the platform and integrations

Improving ways of working across source control, Confluence/Jira, build & deployment

Leading requirements discussions and guiding the business toward cost-effective, scalable solutions

Supporting the BA team with user story reviews and leveraging SFCC out-of-the-box capabilities

Documenting technical solution designs and maintaining architecture documentation

Managing release planning: sizing, scoping, capacity, environments and production delivery

Allocating tasks, unblocking the team, and increasing development velocity over time

Conducting code reviews and ensuring optimised, scalable code

Building SFCC capability across the team and improving adoption of best practice

Managing releases across test environments and ensuring successful production deployments

Planning post go-live warranty and monitoring for all releases

Owning SFCC admin tools and platform governance

Reviewing current implementation and creating a pipeline of improvements

Proactively addressing production issues and managing tech debt into the release pipeline

Supporting live-site priorities, monitoring tools, and platform stability

Reviewing Salesforce monthly releases, communicating opportunities internally, and updating the roadmap

Owning SSL certificate management on eCDN

What we’re looking for:

7–8+ years’ experience in Technical Lead or Senior Technical Lead roles

3+ years as an Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Lead

Hands-on experience with Page Designer, NodeJS, ISML, jQuery

Strong eCommerce integration experience (payments, tax, loyalty, catalog, third-party systems)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bitbucket ideal) and release scheduling into production

Confident stakeholder communication and ability to lead vendors and internal teams

Certifications a plus: Salesforce B2C Developer/Technical Architect
