Journey Early Learning Riverhills is a 52-place service tucked beneath tall native trees on a quiet, leafy street. It’s a place where childhood feels like childhood—slow moments around the fire, barefoot exploration on the hills, sensory-rich natural spaces and a strong focus on wellbeing.
Our educators are warm, nurturing and deeply connected to their community. As Centre Manager, you’ll join a supportive Leadership Team who value your expertise, encourage your growth and believe in leading with care.
⭐ About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, people-focused Centre Manager who is passionate about quality practice, strong relationships and building a team culture where everyone feels supported and valued.
You’ll be responsible for daily operations while leading with Journey’s quality-first approach and receiving strong ongoing support from our Pedagogy & Safeguarding Teams, Area Manager and Journey Academy.
Key Responsibilities
Champion high standards of safety, compliance and safeguarding
Lead, mentor and grow a passionate educator team
Oversee rostering, occupancy, budgets and daily operations
Build trusted relationships with families and community partners
Advocate for children’s rights and wellbeing
Support the development and evaluation of high-quality programs
About You
You are :
a warm, nurturing and experienced leader in ECEC
confident in guiding teams through quality and continuous improvement
passionate about creating safe, supportive, inspiring environments
committed to ethical practice and children’s rights
