Board Member - Treasurer

The H-ELP Foundation (www.h-elp.org) is a pioneering Asian elephant welfare charity based in Australia, run by volunteers.

Our goodwill ambassadors include the legendary Dawn Fraser AC MBE, taekwondo world champion Carmen Martin OLY and respected journalist Philippa McDonald. We have been covered in international media, most recently in India.

Responsibilities

Attend quarterly board meetings.

Prepare annual financials.

Process international telegraphic transfers related to our international trips/workshops and store charity receipts.

Background

Tertiary degree.

Ideally working at PwC, KPMG, Deloitte or EY.

Love of animals!

We'd appreciate someone who is committed with a view to be stay on the board for at least 3 years.

We do few transactions at the moment, but are looking for someone very well qualified as within the next 2 years hopefully will start receiving government funding.
