Technical Delivery Manager – ICT Transformation Program A large Queensland Government department is seeking a

Technical Delivery Manager

to lead and coordinate the delivery of ICT infrastructure and system transition projects within a complex enterprise environment.

You will play a key role in managing technical workstreams that support significant organisational change, ensuring the successful delivery of technology services and solutions that meet the department’s business and operational needs.

Your Key Accountabilities

Lead the technical delivery of ICT transition and integration activities, ensuring outcomes align with organisational strategy.

Coordinate and manage a program of work focused on infrastructure, end-user computing, and enterprise service delivery.

Oversee implementation of technology standards and operational procedures that ensure reliability, performance, and quality.

Provide leadership and mentoring to technical specialists and contractors, fostering collaboration and capability development.

Engage with business stakeholders to translate technical needs into practical solutions and ensure effective communication across all parties.

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of ICT frameworks, delivery practices, and governance standards.

About You

Demonstrated experience managing multiple ICT delivery streams or transition projects in a large organisation.

Strong understanding of infrastructure, network, security, and end-user computing environments.

Proven ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders, translating complex information effectively.

Exceptional leadership and coordination skills with a focus on delivery, quality, and service management.

Experience in Machinery of Government (MoG) changes, ICT integrations, or similar large-scale transformations highly regarded.

Relevant certifications in Agile, ITIL, DevOps, or ITSM methodologies desirable.
