Project Director – Wind Farm (Balance of Plant) Civil Contractor | Sydney-Based | National Role

In this role, you’ll oversee the winning and end-to-end delivery of large-scale wind farm BoP projects, including roads, foundations, trenches, cabling, substations, drainage, and associated civil works.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex stakeholder environments, and deliver outcomes that meet stringent safety, environmental, commercial, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the capture, planning, and delivery of major wind farm BoP projects

Manage commercial performance including budgets, forecasts, claims, and subcontractor relationships

Maintain strong relationships with clients, OEMs, local authorities, and landowners

Champion industry‑leading safety and environmental outcomes

Mitigate project risk through strong governance, reporting, and decisive leadership

Mentor and develop project teams, fostering capability and succession

What You Bring

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in civil infrastructure construction

Proven delivery of wind farm BoP projects

Strong commercial acumen with a track record of profitable major project delivery

Excellent leadership skills with confidence managing high‑value, high‑risk contracts

Ability to influence, communicate, and negotiate at all levels

Ambition to play a senior role in one of Australia’s fastest‑growing infrastructure sectors
