Larrakeyah Health Centre The Health Centre is located at the Larrakeyah Barracks in Darwin City. Larrakeyah Defence Precinct is a unique tri-service Defence base directly supporting ADF operations & training. It is the home port of HMAS Coonawarra for Navy Patrol Boats and two Army Landing Craft. The facility has a routine dependency of 1,100 personnel which surges every 3 months to conduct pre and post deployment medicals. The health centre provides primary medical, nursing, mental health, dental, physiotherapy and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members

Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health

Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount

What You Bring

Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner

FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration

Minimum 2 years’ GP experience in the last 5 years in a primary care setting

Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)

Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)

Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
