Strategic Engagement Manager (Part‑time, 12‑month Fixed‑Term, 5 hours a day)
We are seeking an innovative Strategic Engagement Manager.
About The Role
The Strategic Engagement Manager is a senior leadership role within the Community Development Office, responsible for integrating and elevating the School's marketing, communications and events functions through a cohesive engagement lens. Reporting directly to the Director of Community Development, this role ensures that brand, narrative, campaigns and events operate as coordinated drivers of enrolment stability, reputation, retention and community connection. The position provides strategic alignment and performance oversight across Marketing & Communications and Events, strengthening coherence, sequencing and impact across the annual School cycle and in preparation for CGS's Centenary in 2029.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated senior‑level experience in strategic marketing, communications, engagement or related fields
Proven ability to integrate strategy and execution across multidisciplinary teams
Experience leading or overseeing complex projects with measurable outcomes
Strong understanding of brand positioning, audience engagement and event strategy
Experience in leading major campaigns, events, or centenary/anniversary initiatives.
Demonstrated financial literacy and budget oversight experience.

Professional Requirements and Obligations
Willingness to work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, for events and functions

Appropriate qualifications
A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
A current National Police Check; and
Full working rights within Australia.
