Cardiologist

The Position The Department is seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join the team on a full time basis. You must hold the FRACP to be considered for this position.

The Location It is the home of NT commerce and business and with its world‑class natural and cultural attractions it is also a thriving hub of activity in terms of tourism, nightlife and retail. Staff enjoy a 10 minute bicycle commute to work along the foreshore, and you can say goodbye to traffic, it simply doesn't exist. The tropical lifestyle suits families, with fantastic public and private schools and on‑campus childcare.

The Facility Our client is the principal tertiary hospital in NT and provides a broad range of referral services in all specialty areas to the local urban population as well as serving the Top End of the NT, Western Australia and South‑East Asia. With just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff, the hospital services a population of 180,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals and remote Aboriginal communities.

Around 14,000 operations are performed per annum.

The Requirements

Hold Specialist registration with AHPRA

Possess at least 12 months recent experience as a Cardiologist

Hold the FRACP

RACP trainee approaching Fellowship

Onshore doctors already assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
