Senior - Principal IAM Consultant - SailPoint About the Opportunity Our client is a leading cyber, digital, and cloud transformation consultancy delivering critical security programs across regulated industries, enterprise clients, and critical infrastructure in Australia. Their Cyber Detection & Response practice supports clients with advanced identity, access governance, and security operations capabilities. They are now seeking a Snr-Principal SailPoint Consultant to join their team and contribute to several high-priority identity programs across key ANZ clients. Role Overview The IAM Consultant / SailPoint Consultant will play a lead role in designing, engineering, and implementing enterprise-wide identity and access governance solutions. You will be responsible for defining access models, enforcing governance standards, and delivering high-quality technical configuration within the SailPoint platform (IdentityIQ or IdentityNow). This position requires both hands-on SailPoint expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with business, risk, audit, and technology teams across multiple client environments. Key Responsibilities Access Governance & Role Design Design and implement enterprise-wide access control frameworks for clients Define and document RBAC models, entitlement structures, and control mechanisms aligned with security, compliance, and client-specific requirements Develop and maintain Access Control Design Documents covering governance, workflows, and operational processes Ensure enforcement of least privilege and segregation of duties (SoD) policies across client systems 360 consulting role, configuring and implementing functional, business, and technical roles within SailPoint (IIQ or IDN) Lead role modelling, identity lifecycle development, policy design, and attribute/entitlement mapping Deliver repeatable onboarding processes for new client applications, including workflow configuration and connector integration Use Git and established change management procedures for version control and deployment Stakeholder Engagement Work with internal and client-side stakeholders to analyse access requirements, entitlement needs, and governance gaps Provide expert guidance on identity governance, compliance controls, and risk mitigation Act as a trusted advisor across multiple client engagements, ensuring alignment with regulatory and audit expectations Operational Delivery Establish sustainable processes for role lifecycle management across client IAM environments Support troubleshooting, enhancements, and continuous improvement of SailPoint implementations Contribute to internal playbooks, templates, and delivery standards Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a SailPoint SME, IAM Engineer, Functional or Presales, or Identity Governance Consultant Hands-on configuration of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) or IdentityNow (IDN) including workflows, rules, connectors, and provisioning logic Strong experience designing and implementing RBAC, SoD controls, and governance frameworks Experience using Git for code versioning and change management Ability to analyse access requirements and produce clear entitlement and role mapping documentation Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across business, risk, audit, and technical domains Experience working within regulated industries (finance, government, critical infrastructure) highly valued Nice to Have: SailPoint, IAM, or security certifications Experience working within large consulting environments Exposure to cloud identity, Azure AD / Entra ID, or broader security operations What's On Offer Opportunity to work on high-profile identity governance programs across major ANZ clients Exposure to complex, enterprise-scale IAM implementations in regulated industries Collaborative consulting environment with experienced cyber and identity professionals Career progression opportunities within a growing practice Competitive salary package You can apply directly via the job ad or you can send me your CV to max@jenkinbeattie.com
