Job Description
Head of Revenue and Partnerships: Many Rivers
Organisation
Many Rivers Microfinance fosters economic independence and resilience among individuals and communities experiencing difficulty accessing finance across Australia, particularly Indigenous Australians in regional and remote areas.
Through its Microenterprise Development Program (MED), the organisation provides tailored, long‑term support to individuals experiencing financial disadvantage. MED Managers help clients build confidence and business skills, offering small business loans (usually under $10,000) and coaching over several years to help them navigate challenges and achieve sustainable success.
Its Community Economic Development Program (CED) focuses on empowering Indigenous communities to grow economic activity on their land. CED Managers work closely with community leaders for up to five years to strengthen governance, planning, and leadership, supporting self‑determination and economic participation. Together, these programs reflect Many Rivers’ holistic approach to creating a supportive ecosystem that drives social inclusion and long‑term economic development.
