We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated

Senior Mining Engineer

to join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to dynamic projects in a company that values ingenuity and professional growth.

The Role As a Senior Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for creating operational level mine designs, producing and executing mine plans, implementing productivity initiatives, and engaging with multiple stakeholders to embed leading practice.

Key Responsibilities

Develop daily, weekly and/or monthly mine plans using relevant software (e.g., Alastri APS, Deswik Sched, or similar).

Creating tactical and strategic level mine designs (roads, ramps, pit modifications, pit shells, waste dumps, etc).

Optimising haulage routes and road networks.

Identifying productivity improvement initiatives, and ensuring they encompass the needs of all stakeholders.

Drill and blast design and process improvement.

Provide technical support to mine operations teams.

Generate production and conformance reports.

What We’re Looking For

Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 6+ years experience.

Proficient in daily/weekly/monthly mine planning.

Proficient in site based/tactical and strategic mine design.

Proficient in drill and blast design (nonel and/or electronic).

Proven experience with Vulcan, and/or Deswik CAD (essential).

Proven experience with Alastri suite and/or Deswik Scheduling tools (essential).

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Uncompromising commitment to safety.

Current manual driver's licence.

Quarry Managers ticket (preferred but not essential).
