Head of Treasury & Operations

Overview Starting at $175,000 per year + performance bonus

About the role This is a senior leadership opportunity to join FinCap Australia as Head of Treasury & Operations, playing a central role in the build and scale of FinCap's Private Asset Managed Account (PAMA) platform.

The role is responsible for how investor capital is managed, structured and scaled across private market strategies. You will lead treasury, liquidity and trust operations, working closely with senior investment and client leadership to build robust, scalable infrastructure that supports platform growth. Over time, the role has a clear pathway to broader group finance leadership, including Group CFO responsibility.

The position is full time and based in Melbourne, with flexibility during the platform build phase.

What you\'ll be doing

Lead all treasury and trust operations across the PAMA platform, with accountability for investor cash flows, liquidity and capital structuring

Design and manage liquidity frameworks, including contribution and withdrawal windows, interim allocations and FX management

Oversee the establishment and operation of SPV and unit trust structures, ensuring regulatory, fiduciary and governance standards are met

Build scalable treasury processes, controls and reporting as the platform grows

Partner with Portfolio & Investment Solutions to align liquidity management with portfolio construction and analytics

Work closely with Client Partnerships to support investor onboarding, cash flow management and redemption requirements

Engage with trustees, custodians, administrators, banks and external advisers

Contribute to group level cash flow planning and broader FinCap initiatives, including future liquidity solutions and secondary market activity

What we\'re looking for

10 to 15 years' experience in treasury, finance or fund operations, ideally within funds management, asset management or financial services

Strong expertise in cash and liquidity management, treasury operations and FX processes

Deep experience with trust and SPV structures, including governance and compliance

Commercial mindset with the ability to build and scale processes in a growing platform environment

Confidence operating at senior stakeholder level with executives, trustees and external service providers

CA or CPA qualification required, with further governance or management qualifications viewed favourably

Understanding of liquidity structuring across private equity, private credit and real estate or infrastructure strategies
