We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane team. This is a key role offering technical leadership, project ownership and client engagement across a range of projects. You’ll lead structural design from concept through to construction, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients, builders and consultants to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Lead structural analysis and design for building projects. Deliver projects from concept design through to construction support. Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports and documentation. Coordinate with drafters and review drawings for constructability. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers. Liaise with clients, architects, builders and consultants. Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and best practice. About You

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. 8+ years’ experience in structural engineering consultancy. Strong technical capability in steel, concrete and masonry. Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and construction practices. Experience with structural analysis/design software (e.g. SpaceGASS, RAPT, Inducta or similar). Confident communicator with client-facing experience. Chartered or working toward RPEQ / Chartered status (preferred). Grow and develop your own team. Why Join venter.
