The Role Anglicare are currently seeking a Clinical Lead to join our team on a full time fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

As the Clinical Lead you will play a pivotal role in elevating practice standards across our Aged Care Services portfolio. You'll guide the integration of contemporary frameworks into day to day care, with a focus on Infection Prevention & Control and Palliative Care.

In this role you will provide on the ground coaching, facilitation, and guidance to ensure our clinical and care practices reflect current evidence and align with progressive government reforms. You'll be a trusted advisor to staff, supporting them to embed best practice in all aspects of service delivery.

How you will make help us make a difference

Facilitate and deliver best practice and evidence-based models to support clinical and care governance to position Anglicare as an industry leader.

Contribute to the development and design of evidence-informed, client-centred frameworks, practice models, and policy directions.

Contribute to the development of key practice procedures and guidelines to support compliance and improved practice.

Promote best practice standards, policy and systems and their consistent application including through formal evaluation, monitoring, and feedback.

Proactively monitor and utilise relevant internal/external data, trends, and metrics to inform strategies, solutions, programs, and activities.

Engage and support Managers to adopt and embed new models and approaches.

Partner with Service Managers and Coordinators to action practice improvements and recommendations.

Provide mentoring, coaching, training, and skills development.

Provide representation on key strategic committees/working groups and external networking forums (e.g., government, sector).

What our team are looking for

Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications

Postgraduate qualification in Health, Human Services, or relevant field (desired)

Foundations of Infection Prevention and Control - ACIPC (desired)
