Master Builders Victoria (MBV) is the peak industry body representing Victoria’s building and construction sector. We support almost 6,000 members across domestic and commercial construction, including builders of all sizes, sub-contractors, suppliers and manufacturers. As the Member Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships, deepening engagement, and driving long-term retention across MBV’s membership base in the Eastern region of Victoria. Your work will ensure our members feel supported, connected, and equipped with the tools they need to succeed. In this role, you will: Grow and maintain membership participation by strengthening engagement across all membership categories and industry verticals. Build proactive relationships with new and prospective members, identifying their current and future needs. Enhance the member experience by ensuring consistent, quality communication through all MBV engagement channels. Drive member involvement by promoting, supporting, and facilitating participation in MBV events. Maintain consistent and quality engagement with members by achieving key call targets of 100 touchpoints per week (approx. 400 per month), ensuring every member receives regular and meaningful support. Key Skills, Attributes and Experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and deliver exceptional service to members and stakeholders. Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities, with confidence in representing MBV to diverse audiences. Effective planning, organisation, and time management skills to balance competing priorities in a member focused environment. Proficiency using CRM systems and the MS Office Suite to manage member interactions and accurately record engagement activities. Willingness to travel across the Eastern region and metropolitan Melbourne as required, with experience in a member-based organisation is highly regarded. What MBV can offer you
